A typical Mayfield baby 
We occasionally have puppies at 12 weeks of age, available to loving homes with fenced yards. We like to meet your entire family before we place a puppy. BUYER BEWARE! Breeders that do not ask you alot of questions, are breeders that may be running a puppy mill. Beware of newspaper ads, 99% are Brokers and Backyard Breeders. Brokers sell only puppymill dogs. In many cases these are the dogs with health problems. They DO NOT check hearts, hips and eyes on the parents. It is not worth any amount of money to purchase a possible heartbreaking problem puppy. ASK! If you do buy, ask to see clearance papers. We give copies of the parents current heart and eye certificates, and each puppy is heart cleared and eye cleared before leaving for his/her new home. You may also go to the OFA website and see our dogs clearances. ALWAYS see the premises where the dogs and pups are kept, and see at least one parent. Cavaliers love people of all ages and are great to cuddle with. They are great comforters. Cavaliers, babies and the elderly do just fine together. Ask to meet the Cavalier Mother (and Father if they own him). Don't buy from anyone not owning at least one parent. Ask to see the Board Certified health certificates for heart/hips and eyes on BOTH parents. If a Cavalier does not have excellent temperment, it's NOT a Cavalier. If you get a bad feeling, walk out!

This is Betsy George winning the BEST PUPPY IN SHOW at the USA show in February 2005. She was 6 months old. Her Mother Sara is the top Champion producing female in the USA (2006) Her Father, Bristol was #1 Cavalier in the country, 2004-05-06. He is about to break the all time Cavalier Best in Show record. BG finished her American Championship April 22, 2006. Betsy finished her Canadian Championship June 2006 and her USA title was finished in February 2007 (picture on first page) On rare occassion I may have an older puppy I have kept to show, which has not worked out for the show ring. Usually because it either does not like to show, it's bite is off or tail carraige not what I consider perfect but still a lovely example of the breed. BELOW: BABY TOBY
Eight is Enough!! 
This beautiful healthy litter of eight was presented to their Mother, CH. Mayfield's Stella Star in 2002. All babies are heart clear and in loving homes. An average litter is 3-4. This is unusual!
Some beautiful babies 
Two beautiful wholecolor babies, now 3 years old, CH.Obee and CH. Molly. Their Ruby brother, CH. Mayfield's Victor Mature won the May 2005 AKC National specialty (BOS) 400 entered! The baby Blenheim boy, CH. Mayfield's Mighty Mouse, on the bottom (pictured at 8 weeks) is now 3 years old. He is a Specialty BOB and Group winning Champion. As of December 2005 Mighty Mouse will live with, be owned and loved by Betty Zanio and Tracie West of Olive Branch, MS. Tracie is a Top winning Junior handler in the USA and has qualified for both Westminster and the AKC National Eukanuba Championships 2006. Mighty Mouse is also qualified, finishing the year in the top dogs. Mighty's Father won the first National Specialty in America and also has Best in Shows. His Mother (CH Redthea Millie Mayfield ROM)holds the National title for top Champion producer in the country. This was Millie's last litter. Betsy George is below, winning Best puppy 2005.
